Enhancing Global Collaboration with Insights Discovery

At IGW, we continuously strive to optimize our operations. This effort extends beyond the technical aspects of our business, such as enhancing machinery and streamlining production flows. It also encompasses how we communicate and understand one another as colleagues. Given that we have plants on multiple continents and serve customers worldwide, effective communication is crucial for our success.

That is why recently, our HR managers at IGW successfully completed a 4-day Insights Discovery accreditation.

What is Insights Discovery?

Insights Discovery is an internationally recognized training platform designed to improve collaboration and communication within organizations. Based on the psychology of Carl Jung, it uses a simple and accessible four-color model to help individuals understand their own and others' personality preferences. The primary colors—Fiery Red, Sunshine Yellow, Earth Green, and Cool Blue—represent different personality types and behavioral styles.

By identifying these personality "colors," Insights Discovery helps teams work more effectively together. It fosters self-awareness and mutual understanding among employees, enabling them to leverage each other's strengths for better teamwork, productivity, and overall job satisfaction.

Why this training?

The Insights accreditation aims to optimize open collaboration among all individuals and plants. By understanding and leveraging different personality types, employees can work together more effectively, fostering a more cohesive and productive work environment.

Our HR managers are now fully trained to conduct these workshops themselves, ensuring that the knowledge and skills gained from the training can be continuously shared and applied throughout the organization. Everyone who participated earned a certificate, which required an 80% pass rate, demonstrating their commitment and understanding of the material.

We are excited to see where initiatives like this will take our organization. The completion of the Insights Discovery accreditation by our HR managers is just the beginning. As we roll out these workshops across all our plants, we anticipate an even better way of understanding each other and working with one another.
