IGW builds brand new plant in Iasi

Exciting times are coming as the new year approaches! The last few years have been challenging for businesses. Nevertheless, IGW managed to keep growing. So much so that in 2023, the construction of a brand new plant will start! The plant will be vertically integrated and capable of doing everything in-house, just like the current location. Only now with better infrastructure and the latest automated technology to answer the increasing manufacturing demand. The plant is expected to be constructed in 2024 and operational in 2025.

Everything new

In the following years, the construction of the new IGW address will be carried out step by step. Investing in a new plant gives us the opportunity to implement a lot of technological improvements and streamline our workflow so we can optimize our customer focus.

By implementing brand new machinery with the best technological features for the production of our parts, we want to guarantee that our production lines meet the standards we have long been committed to at IGW. Therefore, we carefully selected the best machines that will not only expand our production capacity , but also further improve the impeccable quality of our parts that we have always offered our customers today and tomorrow.

After all, investing in this new plant does not only mean more production capacity, but it gives us the chance to shape the manufacturing flow to reinforce the core of our business. That means we want to ensure our investments contribute to offering high quality solutions for diverse industrial markets with a deep focus into our customers needs.

Stronger together

By moving to the new address, IGW puts an emphasis on the BMT catchphrase ‘stronger together’, as we will be neighbors with our BMT Group colleagues from BMT Aerospace! Just 1,7 kilometers further, you can also find our BMT Group colleagues from OMCO.

This is not the first time BMT Group plants are located close to each other, and this has proven to be beneficial as sharing know-how between plants, learning from each other and opening up for different points of view have helped all the BMT Group plants to remain a world leader in their field.
